cost-effective, affordable, and efficient solutions in sanitation, hygiene, and waste
management. We are actively involved in addressing the issue of menstrual waste
disposal by manufacturing small, affordable incinerators and promoting the idea of
disposal at the source to improve hygiene for users, sanitation workers, rag-pickers,
and to prevent infections to stray animals and pollution of dump yards and water
We are currently seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Head to join our team at
a national level. The ideal candidate will be a go-getter who can effectively compete in
the field and has a proven track record of securing large deals, particularly with
government institutions. The Sales Head will play a crucial role in expanding our reach,
driving sales growth, and attracting corporate CSR funds.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve the company’s objectives and revenue targets.
- Identify potential customers, build and maintain a robust pipeline of leads, and actively pursue new business opportunities.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders in government institutions, corporate organizations, NGOs, and other relevant entities.
- Lead negotiations and close large deals, particularly with government institutions, leveraging his/her skills in proposal writing and presentation. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to identify potential risks and opportunities, and adjust the sales strategy accordingly.
- Build and manage a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, training, and support to maximize their potential and drive results.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective promotional materials, campaigns, and initiatives to support sales efforts.
- Conduct regular sales performance reviews, track key metrics, and prepare reports for senior management.
- Foster relationships with existing customers, ensuring their satisfaction, addressing any concerns, and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
- Represent Elemantra Enterprises at industry conferences, trade shows, and other relevant events to enhance brand visibility and network with potential customers and partners.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the market, customer needs, and industry trends to provide strategic insights and contribute to the company’s growth strategy.
- Maintain a strong network of contacts in the MNC NGOs, government institutions, and other relevant organizations.
- MUST have a Master’s Degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field
- Proven experience and a successful track record in sales, preferably in the social / development sector, worked on issues affecting women and / or in the field of sanitation, hygiene and waste management, or related industries will be advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to secure large deals, particularly with government institutions, and a strong understanding of the government procurement process.
- Experience in attracting corporate CSR funds and familiarity with the CSR landscape in India.
- Excellent proposal writing and presentation skills.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to build, motivate, and manage a sales team.
- Comfortable working in rural and semi-urban areas, with an understanding of the unique challenges and dynamics of these regions.
- Proficiency in English, Hindi, and any other regional Indian languages.
- A well-established network of contacts in corporate sector, MNC NGOs, government institutions, and relevant organizations.
- Passion for social impact and a genuine commitment to improving sanitation and hygiene practices in India.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
